Made some substitutions for sugar/fat free versions of the original recipe's ingredients.
High protein and high fiber snack. I like to drizzle sugar free maple syrup on top (calories not included).
Made a traditional dish with some lower calorie/sugar/fat substitutions.
Slightly skimmed down version of the classic Hershey Cake. The substitutions cut down calories by about 100 per serving. The cake is so moist and soft--its a big hit at parties.
This dish is perfect if you have leftover ham from the holidays. I love to dip onion, multi-grain or Italian bread in this soup--its so good and filling!
This is my Mother in Law's recipe. My husband and I eat it for a week or so--it gets better every day and is easy to reheat. The soup is hearty and filling so a little goes a long way. It is great with corn muffins. I make it on the stove but you could even make this in a crock pot on high if you want to eat it with a couple hours or low if you cook it all day.
I get about 9-10 (nutri facts are for 9) servings but it all depends on how big your bowls are I guess so you can adjust the servings/calories as needed.
This is a very easy, low calorie, inexpensive and fast recipe. Plus, and most importantly, it is delish!
This was passed on by my Italian friend. You cannot tell that these are made with extra lean turkey/meat combo--they are so delicious. They go a long way! This week I used them to make spaghetti for five people, meatball subs and meatball soup and still have a bunch left over.
This recipe is from my sister in law. It is delicious and great for next-day sandwiches.
This is a delicious and easy recipe I received from my Mother in Law. It makes 12 sandwiches at least and is good to have for a vacation, cookout or picnic.
