Italian Twist Crock Pot Beef Stew

This is really a tasty meal and seasoning can be adjusted to fit your culinary tastes or ethnic preferences. You can put it over brown rice or noodles if you wish or add more broth to increase liquid and serve with some whole grain garlic bread. This meal is low in fat and cholesterol and rich in potassium, dietary fiber, protein, calcium, iron, Vitamins A - B6 - and C as well as a number of other nutrients. I rinse the beans well and use home made beef stock to reduce the sodium level as this recipe is naturally high in sodium. Hope you enjoy this
