My boyfriend wanted something sweet. This is the smallest amount of brownies that can be made reasonably at one time, given size of baker's chocolate squares. Based on Baker's one bowl brownies, sugar reduced slightly. When I told him there were 924 calories in the brownie, he put the remaining half down and ran away. I gave it to him to take home.
From _Not your Mother's Slow Cooker_ cookbook, with additional veggies and more paprika (as in Hungary). One serving is a complete meal.
No added fat. Baked in rice cooker and comes out with beautiful golden crust.
Peanut butter cookies with sorghum flour and butter! No mixes required.

This pumpkin soup is quick and creamy, though it uses no cream. It uses canned pumpkin. It can easily made dairy-free by substituting coconut oil for the butter.
Quick and gluten-free! And no eggs or dairy, so they're vegan and good for egg/dairy allergies.
This full-fat cheesecake has FEWER calories than the low-fat cheesecake from The Best Light Recipe. It seems to me that if you have one special treat for your birthday or other special occasion, it's worth doing it right. And I didn't want seconds.
