Whole wheat and oat flour waffles

I bought a new grain mill, and found oat groats in the store, and had to try milling some. So this is what comes from a bright idea. Very good, light and fluffy.

Chicken Sauce enchilada's

These technically are not enchilada's, but that is what my mother in law has always called them. This recipe calls for cream of chicken soup, and is based on one can of regular, and one can of fat free, only because that is what I had on hand. If you use 2 cans of one kind, your nutritional values will change. I also only use fat free sour cream.

Chimichanga

One of my families favorites! So easy to make up a bunch and put in the freezer for an easy quick snack or meal

whole wheat bread

This is a very good hearty bread. I used fresh ground flour. If you dont use fresh ground, then you need to use 3 cups whole wheat flour, and 3 cups white flour

Chicken Enchilada's

I used Tortilla Land uncooked tortilla's for this. The nutritional content will change if you use another kind.

Pizza crust, sauce and cheese

This recipe is for pizza crust, sauce and the cheese on a pizza. I guess you could say it is a cheese pizza. You can add the toppings you wish to the pizza.

Wheat waffles

I used brown eggs in this recipe.

Potato, Corn and Chicken Chowder

This soup is very hearty. You could substitute the 1/2 and 1/2 for skim milk if desired. I used coconut oil for cooking the chicken, but if you poach them, you can take out that extra fat too.

Chicken Paella

One of my favorite recipes. Would be good with brown rice also.

Veggie sandwiches

These sandwiches have become our hamburgers. They are incredibly filling. We usually serve these on ciabatta bread, but you can serve them on any good hard bread.

Wheat pie crust

Just made this recipe, and it is wonderful! Very light, and flaky. I was able to get a 10" crust out of this. Make sure you flour your wax paper, it helps in getting it off. Also, invert the crust onto your pan, and remove the paper after it has been put on your pan.

Power berry smoothie

This is a smoothie that has seen a lot of variations. I "hope" this is the last one!
