Do you ever crave something warm and creamy? Well, this dish fills that need. Yes, it is a need for me which says enough itself. Desperate times call for desperate measures. I tweaked a few recipes and this is the result. A yummy, low-fat, easy to make chicken dish. The wine really makes it special.
Put it together in 10 minutes and wait for the smiles when it comes out of the oven. You can choose ham if you prefer. I used what was in the fridge. Also, you can add frozen, drained spinach, tomotoes, fresh mushrooms. Whatever sounds good can be thrown in.
This is a great basic quiche recipe. You can easily alter to your preferences. Choose bacon and swiss or spinach and mushroom or brocoli and ham. The combinations are endless.
This is a super simple, "no fail" recipe. You won't believe how good it is. Tortilla soup is normally served with diced avacados, a tablespoon of sour cream and a tablespoon of grated cheese. I did not include the garnishes in the nutritional calculation. This recipe is so good you really don't need to add anything.

This is a refreshing, light sangria that will be the hit of your party. The recipe came from "Sandra Lee" with TV Food Network. This was served at a party last night and every woman there asked for the recipe. I have to admit that I probably never would have made this had I not tasted it first. It is a must try recipe and will definitely be served at my next pool party.
Super easy, hearty bean soup. This is also really good with a can of diced tomatos and a jalapeno but the nutritional info did not include tomatos or the pepper. Cornbread goes well with this hearty soup.
This is a favorite in the fall at our football tailgate parties. We put it together in the morning and play the rest of the day.

This is so easy and impressive. It will be the hit of the party (or just your absolute favorite tuna recipe). I add a little more soy sauce, more wasabi and lime juice but I like things with a kick. I do not think the sesame seeds add much so I make this without them to save time. I did not include the sesame seeds in the calorie calculations. I am posting the recipe as it was born. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed. Barefoot Contessa (Ina Garten) gets 5 stars for this recipe - it is easy and delicious! It looks great on a plate! Enjoy!
Yum Yum! This recipe will have you coming back for seconds. It can be served as a side or dessert. I modified the recipe slightly from Paula Deen's original recipe. This was a hit at our 4th of July party and my guests are begging for the recipe. (That's how you know it's a keeper!) Enjoy!
This is one of those must have recipes for chocoholics trying not to cheat. It is quick, easy and wonderfully creamy. It's great for diabetics as well. My kids can make this recipe with little help from Mom. They don't even know that it is good for them. Wow!
Quick, easy and great for cook-outs, pot-luck dinners or a picnic. I make my own dressing so I can control the fat. My husband loves this pasta salad. The dressing makes it special.
