from Jane Brody's Good Food Gourmet. This is the exact recipe from the book; I use less sugar, whole-wheat flour and a non-stick quiche pan. I haven't made this in a while but I don't remember the wax-paper part of step 2.
from Jane Brody's Good Food Book. I've never made this in a ring mold, I just put it in a nice bowl.
I had these ingredients on hand for last minute company. Easy to make, good with baked Tostitos. Add picante sauce for more zip. This can be adapted to your audience - add Rotel tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, black beans, Boca crumbles - whatever you have around!
