I'm still tweaking this...but with 11 g of fiber and 14 g of protein I think it's worth trying. The beans make it very filling and a lovely brown chocolate-y color. No need to hide the color of this smoothie :D
Almost NO fat and zero sodium for this little portable snack. You won't miss the salt with the garbanzo's natural nutty flavor. If you can handle more fat or sodium, you can add curry powder or salt & red pepper before roasting.
Apples for sweetness, Oranges to balance the bitterness of the spinach. Very refreshing!
You can replace honey with Splenda if needed. Leave out the coconut if you want to reduce the fat.
Good alternative to ice cream when strawberries are in season. The yogurt gives this dessert a tart, not-too-sweet tang that I like. You can use with-sugar pudding mix if you don' t like that sugar-free after taste.
