A family favorite. When baked the cake forms on top with a rich chocolate sauce on the bottom. Serve warm, flipping the piece of cake upside down on the plate so the chocolate sauce cascades over the cake in an abundance of chocolaty goodness. Top with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
I made this for my husband when he was on a low iodine diet. It was a big hit....will definitely make it again.I served this over rice (not included in nutritional info).
Cook time includes 15 minutes of active cooking to make the sauce and brown the meat + 55 minutes pressure cooker and 5 min pressure release. I think this would also come out well if made in a crock pot.
First trip to the farmer's market of the season brought us wonderful tender cauliflower and brocolli. Added summer squash, pasta, and grilled chicken for a nice cool lunch on a hot summer day.
This breakfast recipe is from my mom's family, and I request it whenever we visit.
