THE COTTAGE CHEESE IN THIS SMOOTHIE MAKES IT A 'MEAL' WITH APPROXIMATELY 19 GRAMS OF PROTEIN. I CHOOSE TO SWEETEN WITH SUGAR, BUT SWEETENER WOULD SHAVE OFF 50 CALORIES! WHIPPED TOPPING IS AN INDULGENCE THAT IS REALLY 'WORTH IT'! ENJOY.
Creamy, fluffy and oh....so delicious! One of the best frostings I have ever eaten! 1 Cup Milk & 1 cup granulated sugar are cooked with 2 tbsp. flour to thicken. 1 cup room temp. butter is added and whipped with vanilla to taste.
Yum yum yum....even if there is so much butter!.
Worth the indulgence!!!
Thicken the yogurt by draining the whey from it ( about 5+ hours) through a coffee filter.
Grate cucumber and sprinkle with salt. Let the cucumber rest for 30 min. in a sieve over a sink or bowl to drain moisture from it. Pat dry with paper towels.
Mix the onion, minced garlic, dill, cucumber, salt, pepper & lemon juice into the yogurt.
Great as a dip or as a sandwich spread.
Enjoy!
A relatively healthy and very tasty soup that has a surprise ingredient ( peanut butter). People find it hard to guess the 'secret ingredient' until they know what it is...and then....the flavour becomes very apparent once they have been made aware.
Mix first 3 ingredients.
Roll into 12 balls.( I use a small ice cream scoop).
Flatten with fork.
Bake 350....10 min. Cool.
Drizzle with melted chocolate.
Drop gold leaf flakes on chocolate.
