This is a very hearty winter soup. Put it on, go to work and come home to a hearty meal. This starts out as a 15 bean soup mix, but I'm allergic to green peas so all of the split green peas have been removed when I make it. One serving is 1 cup.
At work one of the nurses made this salad. I tried to make it like her's. One serving is one packed cup.
I made up this recipe to use up some vegetables I had on hand and some chicken that was on sale. Don likes it hotter so he adds more of the hot pepper oil and a little more salt. The soup has a slightly sweet taste with a mild hot finish.
Not only did Don steal my heart with his blue eyes but he also stole my stomach and taste buds with this sauce. It feeds a crowd and also freezes well.
I had some left over Turkey Breasts, cooked spagetti and this Goat Cheese Mushroom dip by Stonemill kitchens, so I decided to make a slightly different version of Tetrazzini.
