The title says it all. This is a great way to make Mac&Cheese without having "powder" cheese.
This is a variant of "Pigs-n-Blanket" but instead of crescent rolls, it uses canned breadsticks
Easy and as good as home made. I put the chicken and chicken broth into a crock and cook it until the chicken gets tender (usually all day while I am at work).
bison and venison can be substituted with very lean ground beef (at least 96% lean) and/or ground white chicken meat.
I found this recipe on SparkRecipe.com but I don't like the consistancy of the fat free cheese AND I needed a lower sodium version. This is a modified version of the original.

This soup can also be done in a crockpot. Saute the onions first - that is where a lot of the flavor comes from - then place all ingredients in the crockpot, stir; then simmer for approximately 4 to 6 hours. Delicious!
You won't be able to tell the difference between this and beef chili. I make a double batch because it is great reheated and makes additional meals - like chili dogs, cheesy chili baked potatoes, etc.
Full of vegetables and flavor. Use smoked cooked chicken for a unique tasting stew.
The bacon really adds flavor.
Cook in the crock all day for a great flavored tender bean!
Bake at 400 degrees F.
Spray a 9x13 cake pan with non-stick cooking spray.
This is a filling and satisfying dish.
These are delicious on buns with mayo and cheese. Best fish sandwiches I had in a long time.

Prepare ingredients ahead of time and this makes a very quick and easy meal!
