Adapted from a Crock Pot app on my i-Touch. Makes the whole house smell delicious! I serve it with warm crusty rolls.
Got this recipe from an app on my iTouch. It's delicious!! :o) I toasted about a tablespoon of sesame seeds and mixed them in at the last minute, too. Toss it with some baked popcorn chicken or grilled chicken cut into bite-sized peices and serve over brown rice. Yum!!
These bananas are warm and yummy! They'd be good as a topping on pancakes, inside crepes, or on some low fat vanilla frozen yogurt. I also think they'd be good topped with some granola for extra crunch.
Pillsbury Recipe - yum!! I sauteed onion and mushroom and added it to my layering in Step 2. Next time I'll add green pepper as well. I'm still tweaking the recipe to make it lower in fat.
A different way to do potatoes! These taste great with low fat ranch dressing as a dipper. You may want to experiment with different seasonings in your cheese.
This recipe comes from www.fatfree.com.
They actually do taste "diet", but they're good for a chocolate fix.
For next time I'm thinking about add ins: dried cherries, walnuts, M&Ms, jam, peanut butter, or something like that.
I came up with this when I wanted a low carb lunch and had all these ingredients on hand. It is delicious, if I do say so myself!! :o) It would be easy to make a double or quadruple batch, depending on how many servings you needed. Next time I'll try putting some black beans and/or corn into the salsa mix.
This is a delicious Ina Garten (Barefoot Contessa) recipe. It has all the components of a guacamole, but in salad form. It is nice as a side dish or topping for tacos (I paired it with fish tacos) or chopped up more finely as a salsa for baked tortillas. Next time I may add corn and fresh chopped cilantro.
Rachel Ray's Pasta Puttanesca recipe. Just like I had at a fancy Italian restaurant I went to last month! :o) Can make it a meal by adding grilled chicken breast. Nutritional count does not include added chicken or cheese garnish.
I saw this recipe on Rachel Ray's show and modified it a bit. It is delicious! I'm sure you could sub more pom juice for the red wine if you don' t like cooking with wine or don't have any on hand. Also, I would think all Splenda and no sugar would work too. Haven't tried either of those modifications, though.
