A wonderful fruity drink you can have for breakfast, a light lunch or a snack. This can also use no-fat frozen yogurt. Makes 2 servings. By Karen Greene (New Hope Press)
This is a great warm soup to have on a cold winter day.
This was used by my synchronized ice skating team for a fund raiser and I don't know if it was truly "world famous", but that is what we always said. Everyone just loved it and it was simple and easy to make. It has a little bite to it, and is especially good the second day. I just divide the recipe down to make smaller amounts for home use. It doesn't take long to make, but the longer you let it simmer (I put it in a crock pot after making it and cook for 8 - 10 hours on low) the better it is. You can eat it though, immediately after cooking all the ingredients together.
I changed this recipe from using white sugar to splenda and it tested great at half the calories. Also, I doubled the recipe because I make another cookie that uses just the egg yolk, so it was nice to be able to use the whites too.
