ied it for the crock pot - and made it easier by using more frozen ingredients.
Make as many as you want...great party snack!
I didn't use rice. If you miss that, you could chop 1 cauliflower head in the food processor until it resembles rice and throw it in the crockpot at the beginning.

A zesty black bean 'n tomato sauce, two types of cheese, roasted corn, peppers, and more. And unlike its inspiration, the serving size is the entire pie. Weeee! http://www.hungry-girl.com
Eggplant is terrific, especially in saucy Italian dishes. And when we first heard about Macaroni Grill's new meal, we thought it sounded great. Then we saw the stats. OOF. So we got a-swappin' -- this recipe puts the restaurant version to shame.

Our spin on a classic. The flaky, buttery dough tastes incredible with the sweet and creamy filling of this treat. Would we sound like a broken record if we said "YUM" again? http://www.hungry-girl.com/weighin/show/21

I had these at a party and went home to see how "bad" it might be for me...needless to say, these are an "occasional food." I thought about playing around with the recipe to see if I can get the calories down without losing the flavor. They were yummy though!!
Martha's website described them as:
These rich bars are inspired by hello dollies, a popular treat in the South. You can use practically any cookie for the crust; grind in a food processor until fine crumbs form.
Note: Sweetened condensed milk is made by heating whole milk and sugar until much of the liquid has evaporated. Do not substitute evaporated milk, which is unsweetened.

The problem with hummus is that a serving size is relatively small -- just two tablespoons. So even though the stuff isn't crazy-high in calories, it's way too easy to overdo it by eating too much of it. Luckily, I DO have a recipe that's SUPER-LOW in fat with a pretty large serving size. It can be found exclusively in the "Dip It Good" chapter of Hungry Girl 200 Under 200. But since you're desperate, I'll give it to you right here and now...
So low cal. So good. Easy-peasy.
Lighter Calorie version of monkey bread; received from Hungry-girl.com email.
