This is a green salad with tuna, not a sandwich filling!
use soy or almond milk (almond tastes better, imho)
Kinda like a cross between wheat thins and goldfish.
Makes 7 servings, 1/2 cup batter each (about 3 pancakes 3 inches in diameter). These are great even without syrup, and I pack them in a lunch for my kids with a separate container of plain yogurt mixed with a little maple syrup for them to dip the pancakes in.
without salsa or sour cream
I prefer the zippy taste of lime over lemon, and sometimes have hard, green pears instead of apples.
Great use for leftover rice, this custard is a family favorite. It's sweet, so feel free to use less sugar. It's really great with just vanilla and nutmeg, but use whatever spices you want. I've done it with Basmati rice and saffron, and it was divine!
