Adds a wonderful zing to casseroles, meat salads, dips, and is the base for french onion soup.
Cuts the calories, savory and sweet together make me happy! My fav is to add carmelized onions.
Make lots of these and keep in the fridge. They microwave well and are excellent day starters. Add anything else you like. Can make them different with addition of spices/herbs.
This is made in a large cassarole dish and is very solid and filling. When made weighs about 10 lbs.
Potato and clams make this OMG tasty. Made in a crockpot to save on electricity and time overseeing the actual cooking process.
Has all the flavor of German Potato Salad, but way less calories. The trick is the cauliflower!
Just regular old potato salad...with greek yogurt, non fat.
Microwaved 300g Yam and 1 TB of honey. Cinnamon and nutmeg to taste.
Baking Pollock or any firm white fish on parchment paper. i used saltines for my crackers. Everyone has stale saltines hanging out in the back of their pantry.
I came up with this when I wanted just the inside filling from a Lemon Pie. It has the flavor and creaminess.
Use one small cast iron pan to make pizza, single serving for a special treat. This recipe can make 6 single serving pizzas, the batter keeps really well in the fridge. I used a 5" cast iron pan. You can adjust the calories by limiting or adding meat. To up the protein for this meal I paired it with a greek yogurt smoothy recipe from another sparker. --OMG was the only comment I got from my mom, then noshing resumed. She had been missing pizza and the oven "fried" crust on this pizza comes real close, like a tiny deep dish pizza.
Low fat dressing, dip for veggies, or potato topper.
Easy, quick choco fix
Gets it's kick from Italian dressing, slightly sweet if you use the low-fat mayo. Additions are welcome: Water chestnuts, blanched almonds, chopped pecans, apples. Copied from my mom's recipe card. Shhhh! Don't tell her.
Crockpot simple meal. Dump, cook, eat. Tasty.

Gonna add what i can when I get one that works. I only add recipes when I get a wild hair.
Only snow peas, broccoli, or spinach. Chicken mostly...rice or pasta based. Big recipes so I can make dinner and lunch the next day. Must be low residue for GI.
