This dish was inspired by Chinese Dan Dan noodles—ground pork and noodles in a spicy broth. We use ground turkey and omit the traditional Sichuan peppercorns for convenience, but add hot sesame oil. Use toasted sesame oil instead if you want mild noodles.
Residents of Sao Paulo call themselves Paulistas and this simple shrimp dish is a regional favorite. Traditionally, the shrimp are cooked in their shells; however, we've removed them to make for easier eating.
For those who don't like mayo, this cabbage salad is fantastically easy, tasty and always a hit at potlucks! It's also a great alternative to that oily asian salad with ramen noodles.
I'm not a fan of mayonnaise. This summer salad has become an easy and tangy favorite.

I'm not a fan of mayo and this tuna salad has become a quick and easy favorite. Tangy and flavorful. Great on crackers or toasted whole grain bread.

This nutritious recipe is cholesterol-free and is a dish full of sweet, savory flavor. The garlic flavor blends well with the sweetness of the dried cherries and raisins, while the celery adds some crunchiness. This quick-to-fix recipe is great when served as a side dish, but with its combination of flavorful fruit and vegetables, it would make a great main dish as well.
