I don't like my cocoa too sweet so this is perfect for me. A dash of cinnamon, nutmeg, or cardamom is a nice addition too.
Vegan "egg" patties for breakfast sandwiches or "egg" mcmuffins. Based off of the omelet recipe in Vegan Brunch by Isa Chandra Moskowitz.
This tastes like dessert but is actually a protein shake in disguise. Basically just a fun way for me to bump up my protein. Esp. on weight lifting days when i'm already drinking one protein powder shake, this makes for nice variety.
Plus it's tasty.
This recipe is for a pretty big pot of soup. You would probably want to halve it.
Also if you want more protein you can sub half the barley for some more beans (I think Kidney Beans would be tasty in this) or just add them in.
Reminiscent of traditional Meat Loaf but without all the meat, dairy, eggs, or badness. This version is low on calories and fat, reasonable in sodium and carbs, and high in delicious.
Sometimes i'll have 2 servings and it's still quite reasonable. Either way I like it with peas. Mmm.
A super healthy low-fat and low-cal chili, perfect for cold days. It's tasty and hearty too.
Tofu and veggies cooked in a spicy coconut curry sauce. Warming and delicious.
Serve over brown rice.

This is my favorite comfort food breakfast when i'm sick and/or it's cold and nasty outside. Plus it's a great way to use up leftover rice.
Can easily be doubled, tripled, etc.
If you don't like overly sweet scones, these are a great balance of sweetness, spice, and flavor. Perfect with a cup of coffee and tea. And they make your kitchen smell delicious!
A hearty mix of veggie-beef and veggies that's perfect all on it's own, or in tacos, burritos, fajitas, etc.
My favorite is to have it on its own with a side of creamy polenta
While very low in fat, these Tibetan dumplings (Momo) aren't very low in carbs or calories. But they are a heck of a lot better in that regard than the Momo I usually get at the Tibetan restaurant. So when i'm craving Momo, I prefer to have 4 of these (one serving) and a small salad with ginger dress and/or a miso-style soup. It's also a very fun dish to make with friends, as everyone loves making the little dumplings!
Decadent champagne truffles perfect for any special occasion, but with the added bonus of being cruelty-free.
Note that these are not low in calories, fat, or anything else really. But for the (very) occasional treat, they are impressive.
