This recipe is from Dr. Esselstyn's landmark book, "Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease," and has no added fat and/or salt (consistent with his diet recommendations and peer-reviewed research)
(makes about 1 dozen cookies if you use 1/2 cup raisins)
Nice hearty, low calorie meal for lunch or dinner. You could even leave out the oil if desired.
1 serving = 1 cup
1 cup sugar in cake and half recipe frosting.
