gluten free and casein free sauce for pasta, pizza, etc. If you desire a smooth-textured sauce, blend in a blender until smooth before adding the mock cream sauce.
The nutritional onfo is based on a 1 cup serving size. Masa harina is a finely milled corn meal/flour. much finer and lighter than cornmeal. It is available in the hispanic foods section of the grocery. This mixture is shelf stable, unless you don't use it very often. then it should be stored in the freezer.
Traditional paella is cooked for hours. This version is mostly done in the oven, so no babysitting the paella :-) Also, it traditionally has peas (I use broccoli or asparagus as I don't like peas), saffron (you may substitute turmeric if you don't have saffron) and white rice (I use brown). for the chicken, you can use pre-cooked diced breast meat instead of raw boneless/skinless breast. Salt & pepper to taste.
