I liked the recipe for Sloppy Garden Joes that I found on SparkRecipe, but wanted to see nutrition info w/o the bun. We'll be using our own choice of bread/bun. I'm going to serve this with a healthy serving of already cut broccoli florets (steamed) on the side for a very quick, easy, complete meal in 30 minutes!
This is my mom's simple recipe that doesn't require cooking the noodles ahead of time. Preheat oven to 375, cook for 45 min, let rest 10 min, then ENOY! I made it with a large portion of meat on purpose so that it would be more of a lower carb, higher protein dinner.
Neovo cookware is designed to cook without oil and to improve flavor and health value of foods. The lid is specially designed to seal to the pot and create a pressure cooking situation. Cooking it according to the given directions produces a nice, moist meat loaf. You could try these ingredients and cook it some other way. I've only made it in the special pans per the directions that came with the pans.
Simple, easy, and a great way to add more fish to the diet. Can serve with corn chips and lime wedges/juice if desired. I have also made it with chicken breasts. And if you're looking for some more good fats consider adding chucks of avacado served at the table - yummy!
