Dutch Sand Cookies

I used to bake these cookies with my mom when I was little. They are called "zandkoekjes" (sand cookies) because of their crumbly texture and sandy color. They are very easy to make, and turn out crisp and buttery. Eat them plain or put some jelly between 2 cookies for a special treat.
