Good base for a salad. You can add any veggies you want, feta cheese, olives, etc. Have fun with it.
So flipping delicious. Not a healthy version, but a family favorite
A recipe I found on allrecipes and lightened up. You could lighten it up even more by topping with fresh or frozen fruit of your choice.
A traditional New Zealand dessert. So amazingly delishious and light. You could make it with light coolwhip to lighten up on the calories, but the fresh cream really is a great treat. Perfection. The meringue forms a crisp shell with a great thick layer of marshmallowy goodness inside.
Soooo good! Next time I will try with whole wheat flour, but otherwise really good and fairly healthy
Spicy asian marinade for shrimp or chicken kabobs. This does not account for the actual chicken or shimp as you discard so much marinade, I wanted to account for it separately. Pretty spicy and yummy!
Very good and different chili. High in Sodium due to the hot sauce. Original recipe calls for added butter and less hot sauce. I thought it needed more to make it more buffalo wing flavored. Serve with crumbled bleu cheese if you would like (not included in nutritional info though)
I add diced pepperoni, salami and cheeses (colby, montery jack and cheddar) for my kids, husband and guests. I pick them out and don't eat them to save on the calories.
Yummy and Authentic New England Chowda - add old bay seasoning to taste. You could make it lower in fat and calories by eliminating the butter and sweating the onions in a little bit of the stock and using a lower fat milk and fat free evaporated milk. This recipe is how I make it though as I prefer a thin chowder made with whole milk and believe that every chowder needs a little butter.
