My great friend Perveen, and hubby Danny Boy, was BBQ'ing up some Tandoori chicken for a summer party and asked me to bring something. I wanted to make a dish which would compliment the Tandoori and be consistent with the Indian food theme. What better to go with an Indian BBQ but a curry rice salad. It was so good. Thanks Perveen for the invite!
I have been friends with Paula for about 37 years. When we get together we have a smashing time. I made this salad for her and her friends for a lobster bake and it was delicious!! Feel free to add any summer vegetables you like, i.e., fresh peas, corn or whatever. Enjoy.
There are a million different recipes for this very popular salad. I love my recipe because it's easy and it taste great. If I am serving allot of people, I make this a 1 dish eating party by serving the salad with a piece of cornbread.
I have said that I could eat peanut butter and dirt. I love the flavor of peanuts and together with the slaw and game hens, these recipes are really good. It fairly simple and makes a great meal for entertaining. It looks really impressive! Cutting the backs out of the hens really make them easy to grill. They cook quickly and it makes them easy to eat as well.
This salad is a nice change from the traditional potato salad. It's easy and will go well with anything you BBQ. I like my salads with a great dressing and you will love this one!
My dad was an old fashion type chef and if there was one thing he loved was Maitre D' butter. It's an easy way to "pump up the volume" on a really good steak. This is somewhat of a departure from the traditional butter, but it rocks, nonetheless.
I can't get enough salmon. I like it any way I can get it. This is a really quick salad that you can whip up in no time at all. The Asian inspired salad, potatoes, and green beans topped with grilled salmon and wasabi aioli, add up to a sensational tasting dish. Make it your own!
Doesn't everyone know someone with a garden who wants to unload their overload on tomatoes? Well, here is a recipe that can help with that problem. And I say this is a good problem to have.
This is an absolutely delicious recipe for summer time meals. Serve it with grilled Halibut or BBQ lamb chops. It's the best!
This recipe makes an elegant and delicious dinner for guests or a romantic meal for your sweetie. It may sound tedious for me to insist you use fresh artichokes but you will not get even close to the intense artichoke flavor with canned or jarred artichokes. It's worth the effort.
Also, we are used to pesto only referring to a basil ingredient. However, the word pesto simply refers to a "pestle", meaning to grind or crush in a mortar.
With summer coming, not fast enough, this is the best "abundance of tomatoes from your garden" recipe ever! I use black beans in this recipe but you can use white, pinto or any bean you like. You can add more avocados, tabasco or whatever floats your boat.
This is one of all time favorites. It is the absolutely perfect accompaniment to any grilled meat or fish. You can keep both the artichokes and Taboulleh salad marinating and pair them with an entree or eat them by themselves. Leave out the Feta and it is a killer vegan dish.
A very delicious variation on chicken salad. Using Dijon and honey in the dressing make the difference. It's great to make a whole batch and just eat on it all week. Super crunchy, super good, you'll want to serve this at all your brunches and lunches.
Initially, this recipe may seem like allot of steps but itís really easy and worth any trouble. I make little 3Ē sandwich, using a good quality dinner roll or a larger sandwich roll for a meal. I have gotten rave reviews and requests for a return engagement when I have made these for parties. Yippy!
This is a very indulgent dish but completely worth all the trouble. It's so delicious in the summer time or anytime. It features Aidells chicken sausage, which really make this recipe sing! Enjoy!
This is a very unique version of the classic pear and blue cheese salad. Because the pears are baked the taste is delicious and refreshing. It's easy, elegant and makes a great dish f or entertaining.
Make extra with this recipe because you will want some the next day! It is a real crowd pleaser.
Killer low cal, low carb dish

Cooking great food has been a passion for me for as long as I can remember. My father was a chef and he started teaching me how to cook when I was about 10 years old. My dad owned a restaurant and worked many hours. So spending time with my dad in the kitchen was some of my very best memories.
