This is so great on fat free chocolate or cheesecake pudding. It is also really good on oatmeal. It is low on calories and big on taste. Plus!, it has a lot of good stuff in there to help keep your sweet tooth satisfied and, put on oatmeal, keeping you full till lunch~!
A really flavorful way to get your veggies! Do not use tomatoes packed in oil, as the calories are way higher. I like to roast my own tomatoes in the oven in big batches and freeze for later use. It's a good way to perfume your house on a lazy Sunday, and way cheaper. Also, use Marsala Cooking wine. You can find it in the vinegar aisle at the supermarket.
This version is baked, not fried. I did use some Pam spray to help the breadcrumbs stick though. It really kicked my craving!
Looking for a way to slim down banana bread, I added a carrot and 1 small honeycrisp apple. Also, I substituted 1/2 cup whole wheat flour, and added 1/2 cup Splenda for Baking, which wasn't listed as a choice. These aren't really beautiful as is, but you could help them out by putting some optional nuts on top. I would reccommend walnuts. Do not be fooled though, they are very delicious!
Please have on hand Splenda white blend for Baking
