Tastes like gyros - but with pork! Makes 8 - 4oz servings (350 calories). Recipe does not include cucumber sauce (see separate recipe) or pita bread.
Original recipe to be prepared on the grill - but I have also been successful with broiling, rotisserie, or pan frying the meat.
Accompanies my grilled pork kabob/gyro recipe - original recipe uses plain yogurt, but I prefer sour cream. Makes 16 - 1 tbsp servings (32 calories)
Personal recipe modified to use applesauce instead of canola oil, and cutting out the white sugar.
