Given red fish in New Orleans this receipe accompanied it because of it being such a strong fish. This is good with any strong tasting fish. Not so good with thing like cod because they are lost in the ingredients.
Very easy and good way to use bumper crop of sweet potatoes. My grandson would live off this pie is allowed.
Nice summer side or main dish. This receipe came from the County Home Economist years ago and has always been a favorite in our family.
