Very basic, delicious way to get protein and veggies
Steamed asparagus with minimal olive oil, garlic powder, pepper, onion powder, and 2 dashes of salt.

So simple, so delicious. Not very low cal though.
I was experimenting with food I had on hand: squash, zucchini, bulgar, and whole wheat pasta. I used the basics of a recipe for squash and zucchini pasta, adding bulgar to give the dish some bulk without adding meat. It is suprisingly light in calories, but fills you up!

Version of another posted recipe, but without marinara sauce.
Simple cheap version of good risotto.
It's really high in sodium, probably because of the cream of mushroom soup I added. Try a low sodium version for less sodium.
Also, I calculated the nutrition facts for the recipe based on 2 servings as an entree. If for lunch or served with something else, should make 4 servings.
Super simple and decently quick, one of my all time favorites my mom used to make when I was growing up.
