i got this smoothie idea from teh smoothie girl. I don't have her book so while I have all the same ingredients she does I came up with my own measurements. Who would ever guess that this combination of ingredients would turn out so incredible. A great way to start your day. This is higher in fat but these are all fats that are great for you. I highly recommend using a high powered blender to make this drink.
This is a dessert my son is making for our County Youth Fair. It is not for the faint at heart. I did sample it which is why I built the recipe : )
a quick simple side dish
the family LOVED this.
simple, tasty low cal breakfast for one. In the past I was never much of a breakfast eater. Give me my Caramel Macciatto and I was good to go. I am now making an effort to move most of my calorie intake to earlier in the day so that I don't have a lot of food setting on my tummy when I go to bed. In that effort I am trying to come up with some low calorie breakfast meals that aren't too heavy for me to eat. This could also be paired with a fresh fruit of your choice.

This is a family favorite and I am continuing to work on making it more healthy. If you have any ideas to help in this area I would love to hear them. I am feeding a family of 6 plus I like to cook once and eat at least twice which is why this is such a large quantity.
