Awesome and super easy meal - about 5 oz per serv
great for fall holiday parties! the original recipe called for 1 cup of oil, but i substituted 1 cup of applesauce for a healthier version. (Calculations show a 70 calorie decrease when using applesauce vs oil).

I just made this for the first time and it was AWESOME. I chose to add cayenne pepper even though the original recipe did not call for it. The recipe here is what I made with my changes. It's delicious, full of protein, and great for you!

to reduce sodium, use low sodium cheese and pasta sauce and use low fat or non-fat cheeses to reduce fat.
2 meat balls is one serving
