I'm working on making a healthier version, but this is what I ate this morning, so until then....
This is a recipe that I've been using for years. I made it healthier by using turkey, whole wheat spaghetti, and yogurt.
I rarely use the microwave for anything more than melting butter, but this recipe is too good and I haven't tried to convert it to oven baking. It's fast, which is perfect on a busy morning with a big family.
These are so yummy and comforting. We've begun to eat them for dinner at times. You make them the night before (if you want them for breakfast) or you can make them at breakfast if you want to eat them for dinner.
This recipe is a rendition of a friend's recipe. She made pancakes for me one morning and they so reminded me of my Grandmother's pancakes when I was growing up. I took her recipe and healthied it up a bit.
This is one of those recipes that is going to make your man stand up and beg for more - and he won't even know it's low in calories!!
This sounds strange, but is incredibly yummy - especially if you love coffee and are trying to get more greens in your diet.
This was adapted from another recipe. I made it bigger and a little more pleasing to my little ones.
Incredibly delicious treat and a nice one to take to parties. Definitely a splurge.
Delicious easy breakfast. Great for a cold morning. Start the water and get the grits cooking while you prep everything else.
If you want less calories, cut the pan into 12 servings.
