A seafood-free version of the classic Spanish dish Paella. Inspired by Canadian Living.com
A Spanish classic recipe made with turkey sausage to reduce the fat and brown rice to increase fibre content. Recipe adapted from Kraft Recipes.com.
Organic butter chicken high in fibre. Great for an indian fix once in a while.
A very tasty, sweet and fresh vegetarian stew high in protein and fibre. My dad is celiac so he loves this recipe to get some yummy carbs. Instead of lentils try substituting chick peas. The recipe makes a whopping 9 1-cup servings. Usually 2 servings will fill me up as a meal or I'll have 1 serving as a snack.
A low fat version of a Spanish classic. Makes for very filling and well rounded meal.
An Indian dish full of fibre and vegetables. Add tomatoes for more Vitamin C!
