Cover with water, salt and pepper. Simmer until tender, drain. Then mix 3 Tbsp. flour and 2 cup milk. Add to vegetables, stir until smooth. Add 1/4 cup cubed ham and 8 oz. Velveeta cheese. Let melt and stir. I also use an immersion blender to give it that creamy texture prior to adding ham and cheese.
