Kicking a Cold Smoothie

Ok ya I know, weird name but I was sick when I made this and was just thinking about what I could eat to help Kick the Cold but stay on track.
You can use all OJ if want to equal 2 cups but my teenagers had drank all mine but a cup so I raided my 5 yr olds juice LOL.

This will make 3 - 12oz servings

PB and Banana Mocha Smoothies

This is a combo for 2 Smoothies I really like and thought they would make a really good blend. Hope you like it as much as my family does. This makes 2 - 12 oz servings

Spinach, Bacon and Mushroom Breakfast Burrito

I though this together one night for dinner. I just used what I had and what looked good. Super easy and quick. You can do it even faster if you make the Bacon in the microwave but I saute the mushrooms a in the same pan after the bacon is done. I find by doing this the dish doesn't need any extra salt added. If you make bacon in the microwave use maybe 1/2 to 1 Tbsp EVOO instead, but that will alter calories a little. You can use a full serving of spinach if you want which is 3 oz but to me there isn't enough egg for that. Again that will change the calories.

Black Bean Pasta from Healthy Cooking Mag.

I got this out of Healthy Cooking. This is a doubled recipe because I have teenage boy. LOL! The original one called for Fettuccine but I had Linguine on hand. Other than that it is straight out of the magazine. To serve 2/3 cup bean mixture over 2/3 cup of pasta

Turkey and Bean Soup

This is inspired by dishes my dad made before he passed away. They were always very good, very healthy and very easy.

I don't add any extra salt to this the soup base gives it enough for me, my husband and kid add a little more to their servings

Oh if you use other ground turkey it will add some calories if it isn't the white meat ground turkey.
