A little of this sauce goes a long way. It is a great way to kick up seasonings on bland meats, such as grilled steaks, baked chicken and fish.
This is quick, easy, and deliscious to make any time. I like to have this for breakfast when I am pressed for time. Add a granola bar with this and you are set for a healthy breakfast on the run. You can also add/adjust/substitute your favorite kinds of fruit in this basic smoothie recipe. Sometimes I add in some extra protein such as protein powder, or extra fiber such as fresh blueberries.
Only 5 main ingredients! This meal cooks up quickly. This is one of my family's favorite meals, paired with a large salad and home made sweet tea. This meal is an all weather food, good anytime for any occasion.
This is an amazingly easy soup to make. It doesn't sit around our house for long. In fact, it has never lasted more than a day. Try to get low or no sodium type canned vegies if you can. You can substitute the ground beef for chicken...just remember to sub the beef bouillion cube for chicken. You can also eliminate the meat and just have a good vegetable soup. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
I like to serve this with a large green salad, and corn muffins.
The base recipe has only 5 ingredients. However, I add in/leave out vegetables as needed. I have added in grated carrots, chopped zucchinni, fresh mushrooms, black olives. Use your imagination. My family still raves over this one!! Makes a thick and hearty sauce.
This is a family favorite. It is fairly easy to put together. This meal is great on a cold wintery day, with a large bowl of tossed salad.
Similar to a V8 juice without all the sodium and aluminum tinny taste. Add just about any of your favorite veggies into this base recipe.
This is one that I put together at the last minute, using all frozen fruit. It was SUPER easy to put together. Great for a snack or Breakfast on the run. Has the consistency of icecream.
My family loves this tea! A gallon lasts for one meal at my house. You can add fruit, or fruit flavored syrups. You can also add in a Green Tea bag. But here is the basic tea recipe to get started with.
My grandmother gave me this recipe that she had clipped out of the Prevention Magazine back in the 1970's. The batter of this recipe will keep in the refrigerator for up to 6 weeks. (It is a good natural regulator). These also keep well in the freezer.
Chunky Salsa is the secret ingredient in this savory dinner. My family loves it!
This is very easy to put together. If using frozen fruit, you don't need to add ice cubes.
