This recipie uses salt free products as much as possible for a low sodium content. Sodium in this recipe is primarily from the meat. Combine with a potato and vegetable for a nice ~500 calorie meal
My answer to a soup not loaded with salt, add spices to your liking. I love Grilled cheese and Tomatoe soup but can't take the 1,000 mg (+) hit with a very low sodium diet (1200 mg/less daily). This soup combined with a slice of cheese on buttered wheat bread comes in at a respectable 638 mg sodium for the meal, less if you can find low sodium cheese, bread and use butter with no salt.
Quick Baked Tilapia
Low(er) sodium meatloaf. This recipe is using a 93/7 mixture of ground beef. 1 serving will be approx 3-4 ounces of cooked product.
This uses a local brand of Cracker Crumbs that only has 10 mg sodium per 1/4 cup, you can easily use regular bread crumbs but that will raise the sodium content 2-300 mg on average per serving.
