I also added the flax seed to my version, and used soy flour instead of the called-for all-purpose flour.

From allrecipes.com- this tofu is first soaked in vegetable broth, then breaded with spices, wheat flour, and yeast, and lightly fried in oil. Vegetable oil (or other oil) can be used.
