A dense yet soft jam-filled cookie that kids can help make.
If you have only salted butter then omit the ¼ tsp (1 mL) salt.
Easy recipe; delicious warm or cold. Fills a 9" x 13" glass or stoneware pan.
Added raisin bran for more texture.
Attempting to reduce the fat in regular banana chip muffins.
Discovered this through trial and error. Has a pleasant burst of flavour. It is thick yet goes down smoothly. The whey protein is there to balance out the carbs, and also to thicken it up a bit.
