Adapted this recipe from Carb Lovers for chicken instead of tuna and used a vinaigrette instead of the oil and lemon juice.
My adaptation of a recipe in Diabetic Living Magazine. The original recipe was with a slice of crusty bread cut in half, but I only had pita bread available. The calories are better with the pita bread. Also, the original recipe called for grilling the bread. I toasted the bread.
Taken from Diabetic Living Magazine for Turkey Chopped Salad, but can be used with other types of salads. More of a vinaigrette type of dressing.
Adapted from Prevention Best Weight Loss Recipes. Can use a package of cauliflower, carrot and broccoli mixed vegetables.
I put this in my crock pot and cooked it for four hours on high. The actual recipe is to be baked in the oven. The actual recipe calls for ground lamb, but I normally use turkey.
