This recipe will make 4 13x9 pans, about 20 1/2 cup servings per pan. Freezes well, just mix, skip the final bake and freeze for upto 2 weeks. Then thaw, and continue with final bake.
I use the disposable, aluminum loaf pans - they are slightly smaller than a standard loaf pan. Ths recipe makes 6 of these or 4 regular loaf pans or 10 mini loaves.
Use less water for a thicker soup, more water for a thinner broth.
This recipe makes A LOT! I usually make 1 medium pan to serve 8, and 3 small (4 serving) pans to freeze. I bake the frozen pans for 45 - 60 minutes at 350.
This is a great "Crock Pot" recipe, I use still frozen chicken breast, put it on in the morning and dinner is done when I get home from work!
