White flour, vegan.
Good for sweet or savoury fillings.
Less sugar than usual. I freeze 1/8c (2Tbsp) portions for wraps and sandwiches.
Trying green garlic for the first time and wanting to use my fresh Ontario asparagus, I came up with this.
Serve on a graham cracker or tea biscuit, or as a frosting on carrot, bran or other muffins.

Simple addition to barbecue dinner
Delicious, healthy and meat-free alternative.
My daughter makes this and told me how. Pretty and fresh-tasting cold dish that's nice to share.
Adapted to vegan from an Old Cooking Light recipe.
Because sometimes you just gotta have a muffin.
My mom, who was not Italian, used to make this version.
I love to cook with pumpkin in the fall or any time. "Orange Soup" is creamy without cream, almost fat-free, and with the lentils it provides a little protein too. Good hot or chilled.
What is stew without dumplings!
Delicious comfort food especially on a winter's day.
Serve with tea biscuits OR top with dumplings.

Sweet and sticky.
Delicious with grilled veggies (peppers, onions mushrooms and tomatoes) and baked potatoes.
Also really nice cold leftover, sliced in a pita with your favorite veggies or condiments.
Not very healthy (high salt, carbs) but I had to count it!
Best with hummus and pita bread.

Slightly adapted from Betty Crocker. This recipe was vegan without any changes!
May also use fat-free sour cream or plain yogourt.
4 generous servings of 1/4 lb beef each (or divide into 8ths for .5 serving if you want a smaller amt).
This was made to have with spaghetti squash, and served with steamed spinach.
I barbecue these on med-low flame in a veggie basket. Check and stir (turn) every few minutes. My favorite combo is with baked potato and pork tenderloin.
Sweet and Sour Meatballs plus lots of veggies and no pineapple.

Lots of veggies and optional meat; serve with tortillas, taco shells, brown rice or pasta, and grated cheese if desired.

Add other chopped vegetables if you like, ie carrots, celery, red and green peppers and zucchini.
