A neighbor's gift of an older unused but fancy ice cream maker prompted us to start experimenting with our own recipes. We love sherbet and sorbet, especially in summer, but there were no sherbet recipes included in the instruction book.

This sherbet really pops with lime flavor! We plan to experiment next with lower fat replacements for the half and half, to see how low fat we can go while still getting the creamyness needed.
