Lime Peanut Sacue

I found this on The Food Network website, and tweaked it a little to my taste.
This savory and slightly sweet sauce is a perfect comlpliment to stir-fries, noodles, and nearly anything you can think of. I love it!

Sweet Corn Casserole

This is a Thanksgiving favorite at my house!

Old Fashioned Lasagna (No Noodle)

This is a very tasty recipe. Low carb! Low calorie!
It can be kinda time consuming, but it is totally worth it. :)

You get lots of veggies too!

Cinnamon Applesauce Cake

This cake is not incredibly sweet, but it nips my cinnamon cravings in the bud! The applesauce keeps it extremely moist and spongy. It also knocks out the fat and calories by subbing it for oil. Enjoy!

    Soups & Chili
    Soups are some of my favorite meals. "They fill you up without filling you out!" as Campbell's would say. They are great on a cold day or for a stuffy nose, but I even love them on hot days and in perfect health!
    Chicken & Turkey!
    I could eat chicken or turkey at every meal (no joke). It's no wonder this cookbook is so full. When I find a good chicken breast recipe, I have to try it out. It's amazing just how many different ways there are to cook poultry.
    Italian Style Dishes
    Whether authentic or Americanized, I LOVE Italian food! It just has that comfort factor. I like to know that it doesn't have to be refined flour based pasta and riddled with carbs for me to be happy.
    Oh, the sweetness.... Sweet doesn't have to be sinful. While sweets are not my weakness, I do like to partake in a few cookies or some cake every now and then.
    This is where I put all the good recipes I find that don't yet have a cookbook to go in.
    Pork & Beef!
    I don't eat much of it, but when I do, the meal better be good!
    Baking (not desserts)
    These may or may not be sweet, but they fill the house with a wonderful bakery smell.
    Mexican Flavors
    Some Latin flair!
    Crock Pot / Slow Cooker
    For those days when you don't want to fuss with anything when you get home. Just prep for these in the morning or the night before, and let your meal be made for you while you are at work.
    Trying to eat healthy on Thanksgiving is tricky, but these recipes are going to help me stay on track. I even like to take a couple and make my own concoctions. The best part is to not tell they family they are eating "health food".
    Breakfast is essential for me to wake up in the morning. I don't eat a lot of carbs for breakfast unless it's oatmeal, but who can resist a good pancake?
