This is my favorite alternative to eating peach cobbler in the summer (although there really isn't a true substitute for real southern peach cobbler). This at least gets me by.
A nice heart-healthy one dish dinner.
This is a nice Kosher alternative to crab cakes. This recipes replaces crabmeat with Pollock fish and adds the flavor of a white sweet potato to recreate the sweetness of a true crab.
This recipe is low fat, and low calorie. Most of the fat is in the cheese basically. If you want to lessen the fat even further, you can omit the cheese. This pizza has enough flavor to not even need the cheese.

This is not a low calorie recipe but is relatively low in fat in proportion to calories, carbs and protein.
Can be served as a main dish, side dish or even ingredient in another main dish. I have eaten it as my side dish and served it with lean sausages and peppers. I have even added it to my omelette which tasted SO GOOD!
I am trying out this detox recipe to benefit my kidneys, liver and colon. This beverage should cover almost a week if drinking 1 cup per day. In addition, while cleansing organs it is important to be mindful of other foods that are being put into our systems throughout the week because you don't want to cancel all of the beneficial ingredients in this detox beverage.
For this recipe you will need a JUICER. I would imagine if done in a blender or food processor, the results would be like baby food--pureed and not juice. If tried in the blender or food processor, you might want to strain the puree that you have to thin it out.
This is a great recipe for Cinco de Mayo or even Taco Night. It can be altered to become low carb if rice is ommitted and replace by sauteed veggies like summer squash.
