Cheater Lasagna

My homemade version of hamburger helper lasagna. I use Jimmy Dean Italian sausage, egg noodles, cottage cheese, mozzarella, and Ragu spaghetti sauce, to make a skillet dish that is much more tasty than Hamburger Helper, and it can be adjusted for lower fat, you can also use whole grain pasta.

Taco Mac and cheese (3/4 cup serving)

Quick meal for those busy days we all have. Big hit with kids.

Crunchy Baked Squash

Try this lightly breaded and baked squash. They are lightly dipped on one side in cracker crumbs, then lightly sprayed with olive oil or canola spray then baked. Very yummy as an appetizer or a veggie side with a variety of main courses.

Homemade Light Ranch Dressing (2 Tbsp)

My easy to make version of light ranch is easy and lower in calories than the traditional light ranch recipe, because it uses fat free sour cream rather than just light mayo. It tastes tons better than store bought light ranch, as good as the real thing in my opinion but with a 1/3 less calories.
