I roll my own whole grains, so pre-rolled amounts given. Double the amounts for ready-rolled ingredients.
I make up a big batch from bagged veggies, then store in the fridge for my nightly supper main course. Even 2 cups is under 200 calories to fill yourself up, or skip the oil and start with water for even fewer calories.

I just altered an existing SparkPeople recipe (Beef Stroganoff for the 21st Century) and incorporated some of the suggestions in the comments. I reduced the calories significantly and used some simpler ingredients.
This is an eclectic recipe, one I made up after reading a lot of recipes. Including quinoa was something I hadn't considered at first, but I cooked some up tonight for tomorrow's batch :) I love quinoa!
The recipe starts with a pound of raw pepitas (green pumpkin seeds without the hulls). Since the only other caloric ingredient is a little honey, you basically end up with flavored pepitas calories. This recipe can also be used with regular pumpkin seeds, but my husband prefers the seeds without the hulls.
This is a fairly standard, but sugar-free, apple crisp which uses ivory teff flour instead of regular blended in with the oatmeal. I adjusted a recipe that came with my teffco order. Teff is the smallest grain in the world, and originated in Ethiopia; it's nutrient rich and gluten free.
I love peanut butter, but most are made with sugar. PB2 is a powdered peanut butter, but it has sugar too. I found peanut flour, aka powdered peanut butter; it's lower in fat than the real deal, too! I mix up a quick batch of this for dessert sometimes.
I used Bob's Red Mill Garbanzo Bean Flour. A more traditional hummus recipe is available on the bag and online. I prefer mine without tahini. The olives give it plenty of flavor :)
Rice and beans are combined in many cultures' cuisines because of the substantial nutritional benefits. This was today's simple fare.
I discovered egg roll wraps in the produce section when I was hunting for some variety to my mainly-veggie suppers. I didn't want to deep fat fry as directed, so I tried this quick and easy fry pan method.
