A rich chicken soup starting withslow-cooked hormone-free chicken and adding fresh vegetables.
This salad to go from Sweet Tomatos is very inexpensive -- about $6 for two huge servings. Add other vegetables, cheese and beans as you like. I often have it with rotisserie chicken for a very quick lunch or dinner.
I am disappointed in the high amount of sodium. I am working to get that number down -- probably change the tortillas to a lower sodium version.
Recipe that can conveniently be divided in two to eat half before workout and half after.
I added cocoa to South Beach's Vanilla Ricotta Creme. I find this dessert very effective settling hollow hunger in the afternoon.
A mixture of whole grains and dried apricots. Start your day with a healthy protein kick.
A lower fat and cholesterol version. Add a little dill relish if you want a zippier taste. Time does not include boiling eggs and draining tofu.
