More About FATYOGINI
Recipes I've Shared:
Sloppy Joes with beef and chicken, plus a good helping of veggies. Serve on a whole wheat bun.
(I'm not 100% sure of the measurements, since I just threw a bunch of stuff in a pot, so taste as you go, and let me know if you make changes.)
A crescent roll "wreath" wrapped around a chicken and vegetable stuffing.
I found this recipe written on a notecard inside a book from a garage sale, so I have no idea where it came from.
Hearty breakfast wrap, with added fiber from a multigrain tortilla and veggies.
I adapted this from a recipe I had written down on a scrap of paper in my kitchen drawer. The original had over 300 calories per slice.
Do not use low fat or fat free yogurt; the quiche won't set properly. I use Dannon Natural plain yogurt. If you still have problems setting, you can use the same amount of mayo, but again, don't use light mayo.
Salty, crunchy snack mix.
Lightly sweet snack mix.
Spices can be used in the amounts preferred. They are not included in the recipe calculator. Nutrition facts are per pancake.
Prep time includes marinating time. Cooking time includes resting time.
Spice rub marinated chicken, basted with BBQ sauce. Calculated using Bull's-Eye Original BBQ Sauce (30 cal/T.). If fewer calories are desired, cut each boneless, skinless breast in half for twelve servings. Perfect for grilling on the weekend and portioning out for weekday lunches!
Chicken broth can be swapped with vegetable broth for a vegetarian option. Mix and match beans for variety, or use kale or swiss chard in place of collards.
Makes 4 generous servings.
I had this in the freezer from a month ago, right before I started SP. It's not too bad, but I had to really scale the serving size back! I usually make this into two smaller loaves, rather than one large. Cooking time given is for one loaf. Cut each smaller loaf into 8 slices for individual (small) servings.
This is a "dump" recipe. You dump all the ingredients in a gallon freezer bag and throw in the freezer. Set it in the fridge to thaw the night before, and the chicken will marinade as it thaws. I usually use two breasts, two thighs, and two legs, but I only eat the breasts, so I wrote the recipe accordingly.
Makes enough dough for two pizzas.
This is a chili using what I had on hand, including leftovers. The mushrooms, baked beans, pintos, and great northern beans were all leftovers in the fridge that I wanted to use up. Feel free to substitute equal amounts of whatever beans you have on hand.
