Threw this together one afternoon.
I adapted this recipe from a favorite of mine for Sausage Dip. Saved a ton of calories, fat and salt. You could probably use fresh tomatoes and jalepenos and save even more sodium. I serve with Multigrain Tostitos.
Garlic boosts the flavor and wheat germ boosts the nutrition.
Made it up as I went. It's a little sweet, so non-salt conscious folks may want to add a little more.
This was my first attempt at quinoa and it came out great!
I ate it with Rosemary Chicken and it was a wonderful meal!
