This makes a quick and easy summer dish and does not over heat your kitchen. I change the summer squashes depending on what's on sale. (I just added this recipe however, I forgot to put the spaghetti sauce in the ingredient list)
By changing the veggies in this salad, it is always unique. I serve this as a main course and add a tossed salad as a side.
Perfect for home-made breads or on plain oatmeal. To change around, replace brown sugar with honey and omit nutmeg.
